mentalmath.lol is built to be fast, fair, and privacy-respecting. This policy outlines how information is collected, stored, and protected when you play.
1. Information We Collect
You can play the Daily Challenge, practice drills, and multiplayer challenges without creating an account. In guest mode, your drill progress, preferences (such as audio and theme settings), and streak indicators are stored locally on your device in your browser.
If you choose to create an account or sign in with Google, we store your email address, username, chosen avatar, country code, and solved run results on our secure servers to maintain your profile and leaderboard ranking.
2. Gameplay & Leaderboards
When you complete a Daily Challenge, multiplayer match, or arcade run, your score, solve times, and answer accuracy are transmitted to verify fairness and render leaderboard standings. Public leaderboards display only your display name, country flag, avatar, score, and completion timestamp.
3. Data Storage & Local State
We use standard browser local storage and cookies solely for necessary functionality: keeping you logged in, caching offline practice drills, and remembering user preferences. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
We use authentication and database services provided by Supabase. If you sign in using Google, their standard OAuth and privacy policies apply. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any advertisers or third-party brokers.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You can clear your local guest data at any time by clearing your browser cache and local storage. If you have created an account and wish to delete your profile and associated run history, you can contact us at any time.
